دنیا میں جتنے غم ملے دل میں بسا لیے
ہم صرف تیرے غم پہ قناعت نہ کر سکے 

संसार में पाए जाने वाले सभी दुखों को हृदय में बसा लो
हम अकेले आपके दुःख से संतुष्ट नहीं हो सकते थे 

duniya mein jitne gham miley dil mein basa liye
hum sirf tairay gham pay Qanaat nah kar sakay

Settle in the heart all the sorrows found in the world
We could not be satisfied with your grief alone
